BEDWOOD Specially-selected, kiln dried hardwoods are completely machined to fit your truck. America ash is our standard featured wood. Other species such as oak, walnut, cherry, mahogany, purple-heart, teak and rosewood are available at extra cost. SKID STRIPS These die-formed, stainless skid strips are cut to length and have holes punched in the proper locations. The stainless is slightly reflective.   Polishing and buffing to a mirror finish is optional. Sunglasses will be required when viewing outdoors. REAR SILL ANGLE This formed angle covers the tailgate end of the show deck, creating a finished look. It is available in matching stainless or polished stainless to complement the skid strips. SUBFRAME This custom designed extruded aluminum channel will allow you to put the nuts inside the channel eliminating having to drill any holes in the steel floor. Another important feature is that the subframe allows a space in between the wood and steel floor preventing moisture from being trapped elevating any rust problems.

HARDWARE All fasteners included are 18-8 stainless steel. We supply nylon crown lock nuts, Phillips truss head machine screws with a special thin nylon washer to prevent gauling when tightening the screws to the strips. We do additionally provide four tapping screws to secure your deck to your truck. FINISH KIT After much testing, we have put together what we feel are the best finishing materials in a kit form. The kit includes a marine-grade, tung oil-base spar varnish with ultraviolet blockers built in; a special reducer containing naptha; quality natural bristle brushes; garnet sandpaper; Scotchbrite pad; a tack cloth; and complete instructions. INSTRUCTIONS Complete and thorough instructions for the assembly, installation and applying the finish to the wood. Don't let the instructions intimidate you. Once you start assembling the deck you will soon realize how easy we have made for you. A few simple tools are all you are going to need.
